I made my x-wing pilot back in the summer of 2015, and created the snowspeeder variation the following winter. This was a fun transitional project for someone who was used to custom Mandos, because it's a uniform, but you get to have fun painting and customizing the helmet.
All the soft goods were sewn and patterned from scratch (the hard goods were purchased from other community fan crafters, and finished by me where required, such as painting the helmet). This was a really good era for me; I had just MAJORLY leveled up in sewing and I was just pumping out costumes.
